Dr. Janaya Feiner
Dr. Janaya was born in a suburb of Chicago, grew up in Los Angeles and moved back to the suburbs with her mom and brother. She attended Wheaton college and graduated with a degree in psychology so that she could understand the mental and physical aspects of health and well being. In October 2025 she graduated with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic. During her time at Palmer she was in multiple clubs and I took seminars to learn different techniques and ways to adjust so that she had a greater variety of tools in her tool belt to help patients. She chose to go into chiropractic because of personal experience when she was little and the way it has helped friends and family. She also loves the holistic nature and approach to health and wellbeing because our bodies were designed to heal themselves and she feels blessed to be a part of that process. She has always desired to make chiropractic care as accessible as possible and to use the tools she has developed to help people heal the way that God intended them to.
What is Chiropractic?
According to The Association of Chiropractic Colleges, "Chiropractic is a health care system which emphasizes the inherent recuperative power of the body to heal itself without the use of drugs and surgery." The practice of Chiropractic focuses on the relationship between structure (primarily the spine) and function (as coordinated by the nervous system) and how that relationship affects the preservation and restoration of health. Chiropractic was discovered in the late 1800’s when a man’s hearing was restored through the first adjustment.
From that time, the advances in Chiropractic care have made profound impacts on the well being of many peoples lives. Because Chiropractic treatments are primarily applied to the spinal region, many individuals incorrectly assume that Chiropractors treat only back and neck ailments. While they do quickly and effectively eliminate back and neck pain, it's not the only goal. The objective is to restore and optimize overall health without the use of drugs and surgery.

how chiropractic works
Chiropractic is a natural form of health care. The Chiropractor is a primary health care provider, like a medical doctor and has had the same years of schooling. A Chiropractor's focus is much different from a medical doctor's however. Chiropractors look at the body as a whole and not just the area where you may be feeling discomfort. They focus on finding the cause rather than covering up the symptoms with drugs or surgery. The nervous system is the master controller of all living cells, tissues and organs; orchestrating and coordinating all cellular functions. The spinal column encases the nervous system (spinal cord and nerve roots) and is responsible for its protection. Because of this intimate relationship, biomechanical and structural problems in the spinal column can irritate parts of the nervous system. This irritation can result from physical stress, chemical stress, mental stress and emotional stress. Chiropractic care focuses on detection of these areas of nerve interference, called “vertebral subluxation”, and correction by delivering a precise Chiropractic adjustment. Each adjustment is tailored to that person’s body allowing Chiropractic care to be safe for everyone, even infants and children. Because the body's innate recuperative powers are affected by and integrated through the nervous system, correcting spinal imbalances can lead to a number of favorable results in patients suffering from various, seemingly non-spinal health conditions.
journey to healing

Corrective care is the initial phase that addresses underlying structural and biomechanical issues. During this phase, we focus on correcting subluxations, improving joint mobility, and reducing spinal dysfunction. Corrective care aims to alleviate pain, restore proper nerve function, and establish a solid foundation for long-term healing.
We use various techniques, including spinal adjustments, rehabilitative exercises, and postural correction, tailored to each individual. The duration of the corrective care phase varies from person to person and depends on symptoms, structural changes, lifestyle and much more.
Corrective Phase

Once the corrective care phase is completed, patients transition into the maintenance care phase. This phase is crucial for sustaining the progress achieved in the previous phase and preventing the recurrence of symptoms. Maintenance care aims to preserve proper alignment, joint mobility, and overall spinal health.
Stabilization Phase

Wellness care is the final phase in healing and focuses on proactive health maintenance and maximizing the body's potential for optimal well-being.
During wellness care, we develop personalized wellness plans that incorporate regular adjustments, exercise, and lifestyle modifications. The goal is to enhance the body's ability to adapt to daily stresses, maintain optimal function, and promote overall wellness.
Wellness care is an ongoing process, emphasizing the importance of consistent self-care and regular chiropractic visits to support long-term health and prevent future issues. It empowers patients to take an active role in their well-being and provides a foundation for a vibrant and balanced life.
