hOt + COLD

experience
cellular healing

The hot-and-cold contrast therapy of sauna and cold plunging acts like a workout for your cardiovascular and lymphatic systems, improving overall circulation, reducing inflammation, and boosting immune resilience. The process also activates endorphins and stress-response pathways in the brain, helping to sharpen focus, improve mood, and enhance mental toughness. Regular use of sauna and cold plunge together supports faster recovery, balanced energy, and a greater sense of overall vitality and well-being.

Infrared Sauna

We offer a two person medical grade Sunlighten sauna that uses near, mid, and far-infrared waves penetrate the skin, muscles, joints, and tissues to increase circulation, speed oxygen flow, and help rid the body of harmful toxins.

Sweating is Good For You

Our medical sauna has specific settings to achieve whatever goal you are trying to achieve.  Our health care providers and team members can guide you, what they think might be best, depending on your health history. How does a sauna do this? Our sauna uses light in different wavelengths to heat the body at different depths.

Ancient healers were aware that a slight increase in body temperature was a potent healing tool against various illnesses. Greek physicians elevated body temperatures to strengthen the body’s immunity against infection.  Slightly raising body temperature produces a natural biological defense and healing action of the immune system to rid the body of destructive pathogens…in effect, to literally burn out foreign or invading microorganisms.

What your visit will look like:  Depending on your experience we will suggest a certain setting and length of time for your session. You will be asked to fill out a medical history and release form.  Upon entering our wellness facility you will be provided with a through explanation how to use the sauna along with electrolytes to drink and an iced lavender cloth for the end of your session.  We provide everything you need; you just show up.

Embrace the Cold

Cold Plunge Therapy is the practice of immersing your body in cold water—typically between 50°F and 59°F—for 3 to 5 minutes to activate your body’s natural recovery and healing processes. The cold exposure causes your blood vessels to constrict and then rapidly dilate when you return to warmth, flushing out toxins, improving circulation, and reducing inflammation. This process helps relieve muscle soreness, boost energy, and strengthen your immune system—leaving you feeling invigorated and refreshed.

When paired with sauna use, Cold Plunge Therapy becomes part of an even more powerful contrast therapy routine. Alternating between heat and cold exposure creates a “vascular workout” that improves cardiovascular function, accelerates muscle recovery, and supports detoxification. The sauna’s heat opens blood vessels, increases heart rate, and promotes sweating to release impurities, while the cold plunge constricts vessels and reduces inflammation. Together, this cycle enhances circulation, balances the nervous system, and promotes deeper relaxation and resilience—helping your body and mind perform at their best.
